Z103.5 is “103.5 Dawn FM”. Multiplatinum recording artist, The Weeknd, releases his much anticipated new album Dawn FM. Hailing from Toronto, The Weeknd has always supported and showed love to the radio station leading to them teaming up for the launch of the new album. With appearances from Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Dawn FM also features Actor Jim Carrey, a fellow Torontonian who narrated the trailer.
The Toronto Top 40 radio station will rebrand as 103.5 Dawn FM for the day – blending together hits from the new album with classic Weeknd hits and Z103.5’s unique playlist, reskinning their website, and posting content on socials.
An article written in the Los Angeles Times states – “The “103.5 Dawn FM” live experience will kick off at 9 p.m. Pacific. The 103.5 FM station tag could be a nod to Z103.5, the Top 40 radio station in Toronto that’s shown the Weeknd a lot of love throughout his career.”
