Job Responsibilities
- Weekday Midday show host
- Prepare and present a show that relates to a mature, yet young-at-heart audience
- Attend public appearances, remotes, charitable and community events
- Attend programming meetings and contribute your ideas for all aspects of our operation
- Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
- Conceptualize, create, and edit video content for website and social media
- Voice-track when required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Radio Broadcasting or related experience in entertainment
- Working knowledge of WideOrbit, Adobe Creative Cloud, and MusicMaster an asset
- Extraordinarily strong work ethic with exceptional communication and writing skills
- Unparalleled skill at storytelling
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to take instruction with ease
- Professional attitude with a friendly demeanor towards listeners, clients, and co-workers
- Team-first mentality
