Hudson/Saint Lazare, Quebec, May 25, 2022. The trademark camaraderie that defined and distinguished Terry DiMonte and Ted Bird on Montreal morning radio, spanning over two decades, returns to the area Saturday May 28th. Best known for hosting the Morning Show on Montreal’s CHOM-FM, the duo is reuniting to co-host Saturday Morning with Terry and Ted on CHSV/Lite 106.7 FM. The show will run from 9:00 am to noon. Lite 106.7 is a contemporary popular music station that targets the area encompassing Hudson to the west and West Island to the east.
Ted Bird has been the morning show host on Lite 106.7, weekdays 5:30 am – 9:00 am, since the station signed on in 2015. “How come his name is still first?” mused Bird about his reunion with Canadian Radio Hall of Fame recipient DiMonte. Terry who has been living in semi-retirement in British Columbia since last year said: “My Saturdays were open and the idea of working with Ted again in the place we know, and love so well was irresistible.”
Listeners, former and new, will enjoy the light banter and irrefutable entertainment chemistry between the two. Ted Silver, Lite 106.7 Program Director, said: “As a programmer and long-time Terry and Ted fan, I am thrilled to add Saturday Morning with Terry and Ted to our schedule and to have them where they both belong which is together on Lite 106.7-FM. I can’t wait to turn on my radio May 28th.”
