March 25, 2022 (Winnipeg, MB) – Evanov Communications Inc. radio stations ENERGY 106, HOT 100.5 and 92.7 CKJS are preparing to move from their current home at 520 Corydon Ave. to brandnew state-of-the-art studios located at Polo Park.
To facilitate the continued growth and success of the Winnipeg branch, Evanov Communications has laid out plans to move all studios to a larger space to better meet the needs of listeners and advertisers in Manitoba.
“Over the past ten years, our day-to-day business has grown to the point that building new studios just made sense” said Adam West, Program Director for ENERGY 106 and HOT 100.5. “We have the most talented on-air personalities in Winnipeg, and we want to give them the tools to provide the most creative and engaging content for our fans, both on the radio and online. Enhanced office space will also allow our Account Managers to better serve the needs of our ever-growing client list.”
The new location at 1440 Jack Blick Ave. will have newly built, state-of-the-art on-air studios for Evanov’s three FM radio stations, as well as studios dedicated to producing podcasts and video content for streaming on all platforms.
Evanov Communication President and CEO, Paul Evanov, said: “ In the last couple of years, the pandemic notwithstanding, the company has made substantial investments in Winnipeg. Among these are the construction of a new broadcast tower where all our stations will have the transmitters and the conversion of our multilingual station CKJS from the AM to the FM band. The move of the broadcast studios, operation and administration from the current location to Polo Park is in-line with how we value the Winnipeg market, our dedicated employees and loyal advertising clients.”
