Toronto, Ontario, November 17, 2023 – On Wednesday, November 22nd AM530 CHLO and the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation will host a LIVE Radiothon fundraiser. The funds raised will be going to support early detection of Cancer. Unfortunately, 2 in 5 Canadians can expect to receive a Cancer diagnosis in their lifetimes.
The goal of this First Annual Radiothon is to help raise funds to fight Cancer and to spread the word on the importance of early detection. The number of people being diagnosed with Cancer is rising in Canada and throughout the world. You can make a difference in the lives of your family, friends, and coworkers by donating to the Princess Margaret Radiothon.
AM530 CHLO is accepting all levels of monetary donations right NOW at am530.ca. CHLO is an ethnic, multilingual station that broadcasts in 12 languages. It is the country’s largest provider of programming to the South Asian community primarily in the Punjabi language.
