Toronto, Ontario, April 23, 2024 – Evanov Communications Inc. announces the appointment of Ms. Shannon Bennett to the position of Legal/Privacy Counsel. Ms. Bennett who has been with the company as In-House Counsel since September of 2022 assumes the new role effective immediately.
Speaking about the appointment, ECI President and CEO, Paul Evanov, said:” Over her tenure with us, Shannon has become a key member of our in-house legal and regulatory department. Her keen interest and knowledge in Privacy Law lines up with our plan to institute a more fulsome infrastructure in this area for the benefit of our company and employees.”
Ms. Bennett was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2018, having previously practised as a barrister in Ireland. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of the West of England, an LLM from Trinity College, Dublin and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for both Canada and the European Union.
