Montreal, Quebec — April 20, 2026 — Evanov Radio Group Inc., an Evanov Communications company ("ECI"), and 9238476 Canada Inc., part of the Torres Media group ("Torres Media"), today announced that ECI has agreed to sell the assets of radio station CHSV-FM in Hudson/Saint-Lazare, Quebec, to Torres Media.
CHSV-FM first went on air in 2015, following an application by ECI to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to establish a new station in Hudson/Saint-Lazare. The station has served the community for over a decade as part of ECI’s portfolio of independent radio properties across Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec.
Transferring our only English-language commercial station in Quebec to another independent broadcaster is the right outcome for the station and the community it serves. The transfer of CHSV-FM is subject to approval by the CRTC. Upon approval and satisfaction of all other conditions, it is anticipated that the transaction will close within 10 days.
